ecoDa is launching a new initiative in promoting lifelong learning and continued professional development through a series of webinar to update you on key developments impacting European corporate governance.
Our first webinar covered the complex recent case of British Home Store (BHS), a large private company in the retail sector with a controlling shareholder whose unravelling offers an insight into questions of corporate liability and corporate governance.
Chris Hodge, Director, Governance Perspectives, explored the impact that the BHS case had on the British regulatory framework, especially on governance of private companies and on the ethics of business behavior.
Carum Basra, newly appointed as Corporate Governance Policy Advisor at the IoD, facilitated the webinar.
