ecoDa is looking for a (Junior) Policy Adviser

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Director General., the EU Policy Adviser :

• Carries out policy analysis. S/he monitors the policy landscape relevant for ecoDa, at EU level and in key Member States as appropriate for ecoDa’s weekly EU alert;
• S/he drafts briefings to explain the relevance of regulatory packages to ecoDa’s members ;
• S/he reports on events/conferences organized by ecoDa or by external organizations;
• S/he participates in drafting committee minutes;
• S/he supports the daily activities including support in organizing webinars and events and in updating the website and social media in good understanding with the Director General;
• S/he also helps in the organization of the ecoDa (European Board Diploma) training which contributes to the positioning of ecoDa in the sphere of Advocacy in Brussels;
• S/he plays a significant role in the design of communication tools related to the Advocacy Committee.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• A university degree in Public Affairs, EU Affairs, Public Policy & Management, or related fields ;
• Excellent understanding of EU decision-making process and regulatory framework;
• Experience in drafting policy documents and in advising on EU affairs ;
• Motivated, driven and service-orientated;
• Perfectly fluent in written and spoken English and French.

REMUNERATION CONDITIONS 

Full time position – One-year contract renewable twice

Remuneration will vary depending on the experience.
